COSIG, Inc. (hereafter referred to as COSIG) was formed to HELP, HOUSE and TRAIN homeless veterans and those with disabilities. On any given night in America, there are approximately 50,000 homeless veterans living on the streets. Did you know that returning veterans are more likely to experience homelessness than almost any other group of people? Think about it. Our veterans risked their lives for our country, they shed blood, sweat, and tears for our nation. And what do we do in return? We turn a blind eye and watch them become social outcasts. Also, there are approximately an additional 500,000 people with various disabilities living on our streets that need help, housing and training.
COSIG is a Virginia based non-profit organization with a national view of homelessness in America. Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase a closed military base that will become our new training facility.
COSIG will HELP connect veterans and people with disabilities to their benefits and support services.
COSIG will HOUSE our clientele temporarily for up to 2 years while they earn a skill.
COSIG will TRAIN our clientele in one of our five career areas. This will help our clients find employment, a place to live and provide a brighter future.
Our five career training areas are:
- Automotive Repair
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Industrial Piping
- Residential / Commercial Construction
COSIG is a 100% independent organization, we depend on generous donations in order to keep our programs funded. Your invaluable contribution will allow us to continue to HELP, HOUSE and TRAIN homeless veterans and people with disabilities. Given the opportunity, we plan on further expanding our training programs and offering our services to more individuals.
WE NEED TO STAND TALL AGAINST HOMELESSNESS!
If any of your loved ones have served in the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or the Air Force, then you already know that coming home and readjusting to reality is quite hard. Now imagine if your loved ones didn’t have any support or training. Wouldn’t you like to do something about it?
We are sincerely asking for your generosity to Help, House and Train homeless veterans and people with disabilities. Please find it in your heart and donate today...
